This dyed stabilized red & purple cattle bone is easy to work and looks great on the knives. This Bone Scales is 100% Solid and Smooth. The inside shade can be seen from width side of the bone if need be, grind or abrade a little. Using acrylics or any polymers for sealing/stabilizing the bone will make the material is no longer BIODEGRADABLE.
If you are particular do it by dipping it in a mix of linseed oil and solvent. Oil treatment may change the shade appearance. You can mix and match in bulk pack orders. All pairs of the dyed stabilized bone will not be in same shade and may differ.
